Big mix

Hi!

I had a lot of really old manicures that deserve to go public, but since they are so old I managed to save only a picture or two of a manicure

The first one is China Glaze Ahoy stamped with Bundle Monster 221 over a pale pink ( I don't know the name of the nail polish since this picture is about 4 years old).
I was never a pink person until I met Ivana from Ivana Thinks Pink, but even now I'd pick purple or blue over pink any time. But when it comes to Ahoy! the story is completely different. I really can't remember where or when I got this one, but it was love at first sight and now I own 3 bottles of this gorgeous colour =).

In this picture there is S-he stylezone 155 stemped with China Glaze Ahoy! and BM plate no. 019.

The last one is Essence Style me Love from Nails in Style LE.
I stamped it over with Konad special nail polish in black and stamping plate m57. Although I'm not a fan of animal print, I really LOVED this one. I'm already thinking about recreating this manicure.

Do you have some old pictures waiting to be publishes on your flash drive?

Anti Valentine's day manicure

Hi!

Currently I'm not able to blog more often. I hope this will change next week when I'm done with my last exam for my fourth semester. It will probably get easier =)

Today I'd like to show you how I upgraded BarryM Pomegranate from my previous post. I never intended to do something like that, I just went with the flow and used the first stamping polish and plate I grabbed. But before that I made black french tip, because I hear it is very fashionable this year =)

I intentionally made it really narrow, because I have short nail beds and with manipulating french tip width I achieved that my nails look much longer =)

Then I added heart from BM202 plate with konad special black

I'm sorry about bad color quality ( every picture has a different shade of Pomegranate).

It just started snowing here!
I'm getting really annoyed by snow this year, because we had a loooot of it, besides it is Easter next Sunday!

Do you like snow?
What do you think about my anti Valentine's day manicure?

Broken snake skin

Hi!

Today I decided to show my first attempt to mimic snake skin. I failed big time, this is why I named this post broken snake skin =).

Even tough I don't like it I thought it would be fun sharing it with my readers.
Here is is:

I used:
BarryM Lady in red as a base
for sponging: Essence: Pixie Dust & Love potion and Diamond Cosmetics Cherry Tobacco
Stamping: BM 209 and Konad Black

It doesn't look like snake skin right?
Sometimes I just end up with a big fail, and this is why I decided to show you this. I would say that even the best bloggers have a bad polish day, but I'm really not one of the best =).

Gradient with leaves

Hi!

Remember this post? My massive purchase in September! I still haven't used all polishes I bought back than, but I did wear a lot of them. I also bought Beauty UK west end girl set, because I just love Beauty UK sets, polishes inside are really amazing, they dry fast, have high gloss, they are really amazing.
For this manicure I used the first 2 polishes which are also my favorites in this set.

As a base I used the lightest one. It is just amazing isn't it?
It also contains a bit of shimmer, you can see it on the bottle.

This polish is really beautiful on it's own and it also suited my skin tone, but it is also a perfect base for some nail art, so I just had to add something.

I decided to do a little gradient with stamping. I used the second polish in this set, dusty pink.
This is what I got:

In the end I added patter with leaves from BM 11

I didn't add any TC before taking pictures. And when I added TC I bumped my nail into something, so thankfully I had at least a picture before TC =)

Here is a list of all the items used:
Base: Beige from BUK west end girl set
Gradient and stamping: dusty pink from BUK west end girl set
IP used: BM11

Do you like it?

In the end I'd only like to say thank you for being here for me! Especially Nail Crazy, Two Matejas, Amanda, Taya and Mateja from Purple Glitters! Your kind words almost made me cry last night =).
I'm also tankful to other girls and their kind comments! You rock!

Thank you!

Three challenge 3-3: Wavy

I know I'm a bit late ( not a bit, but 10 days). I'm sorry about that, but I've had my reasons =)

For this part I had to make something wavy. When I looked the design on BM 209 I thought that it looks just as wavy as I want it, but when I transferred design on my nails and with this color combination it doesn't look wavy at all. Wavy or not, I liked this look, and I hope you like it too =)

Items Used:
OPI: Dutch'ya just love OPI?
BM 209 and Essence magic wand =)

I'll prepare a post containing all the pictures from threee challenge in the near future =)

Three challenge part 2: ultra modern

I was supposed to publish this yesterday, but I've had a really busy day yesterday and I really didn't manage to prepare any posts, so I postponed them for today.
For this part of challenge I had to prepare something ultra modern. I really struggled with that one, and I must say that I'm really not pleased with what I came up, but I must admit, it is not a complete fail as well.

I decided to go with this combination because:
  • I really think that this bundle monster design reminds me of something really modern
  • because I've never combined purple and green in my life, and since people really wear this combo it probably is modern ( or it's maybe modern only to me)

natural light

artificial daylight

Items I used:
Orly: Pure Porcelain
Bundle Monster 203 with Bichun(purple) and CG Jolly Holly

Stamping on this manicure is really crappy, but what the hell! This was my only idea and I really didn't have any spear time to correct it.

What do you thing about my representation of ultra modern? Am I "altmodisch"( old-fashioned) ?

P.S. I'm really sorry for the horrible state of my cuticles. I'm really working on them( I was a bit to nervous on Tuesday)

Here is the list of other girls that joined this wonderful challenge:

This is a bonus picture showing one of the reasons why I wasn't able to prepare a post

My best friend finished her diploma yesterday with 10, so we celebrated with cocktails. They were really delicious!!!

Spring challenge part 3

HI!!!!

For today I have prepared a manicure from awesome spring challenge. Because I thought I know all the challenges right, I didn't check the instructions before making the manicure, and I made a "little" fail. I forgot to include dots =(.
I'm really sorry about that, but by the time I realised that, my nails were already coloured with another polish, so I wasn't able to change it. Because I didn't want to be without dots I cheated a bit and added them with a program, but only on one picture, so you can see my real manicure =).

For this manicure I used:
Essence: My Yellow Fellow and  I like from Blossoms LE and Back to paradise from Return to the Paradise LE
I also used BM04

I'm really sorry abut the dots. I hope I'll be forgiven.

Here are all the other girls that are participating in this challenge

The last day of B&W Challenge

Hi!

It's time to post the last manicure from black and white challenge =)
This time I had to make black and white manicure of my choice.
All the way through the challenge I wanted to make white base with black Victorian style pattern, but sadly I never had enough time ( or maybe I just didn't take enough) to complete my wish. This was a perfect opportunity, but again I failed. Because I got my new Bundle Monster IP about a week or two ago it was just easier for me to use one of the images from my new 25 IP. I chose one from BM222, but I also failed to stamp it perfectly. Which leads us to the fact that I had to start stamping more often again =). And this clearly won't be a problem since I had 25 NEW IP =)

For this manicure I used:
Essence: Fatal
Konad special white polish
BM 222

I also challenged myself to use each one of my plates at least once and I hope I'll make it happen =)

Here are all the other ladies that were participating:

Black and white with glitters

Hi!

A quick post for today =)
It's about time that I post pictures from day 7 of Black and White challenge.
All I need to say about this manicure is that it didn't turn out the way it should, and it looks awful, but I don't have time to make it again.
I used:
Beauty UK urban girl set: white polish
Konad Black and BM 208
BarryM Silver Cascade which I got as a gift from Ličila.si

Here is the list of other girls that participated:

Peachy Keen

Hi!

Today I'm going to show you another old manicure, but I really like the way it turned out and this is why I decided that I'm going to show you this one first =).
I started off with 2 coats of Peachy Keen from China Glaze, but  I really didn't like the color, so I decided to give it an upgrade =). But take a look at Peachy Keen on it's own on my nails =)
I got this one from Ivana to try out.
Thank you dear =)

And as I already said I had to spice it up and also cover the color, because I didn't like the way it looked on me. Here is what I got:
I used BM 16 and Lacura polish in Cherry ( I think)

I was really in love in this manicure, and I can't wait to try this design again =)
Another picture:

Like it?

Tomorrow I'm going to show you my first french manicure =)
Have a nice day!

Flash orange got a tribal tattoo and a giveaway update =)

Hi!

Yesterday I showed you pictures of flash orange from Look By Bipa and today I'm going to show you how I upgraded this manicure with a little help from Bundle monster plate =).
I used Essence Black polish from B&W LE =).
Here is what I ended up with =):

I really don't like orange on my nails, this is why I removed this manicure really fast =).

What do you think about this one?
Do you like wearing orange on your nails? Do you like wearing orange clothes?

An now to the giveaway update =).
I know what I'm going to do now is corruption, but as I stated in my previous post I entered a competition on facebook and I'd really like to get as many likes under my picture as I can get =). So to all of the girls that are going to like my picture I'm giving another 3 entries in my giveaway.

Ahoy! with some hearts

Hi!

I'm not in the mood for chatting today, so I'll only show you how Ahoy! got a lot of love =).

What do you think? Did I give Ahoy a lot of love? =)

Calypso Breeze is back!

Hi!

As promised I have to show you pictures of another manicure I did with Calypso Breeze.

Here it is:

I still don't know if I like Calypso Breeze, but because Orly Bottles are big, I think I'll have a lot of times to decide.

For stamping I used one of the BM plates( I'm too lazy to look the nuber up) and a mixture of Essence B&W LE White hype and Sally Hansen Blue it.

Do you like the final result?

Essence: Underwater V2

You have probably seen new version of Essence Underwater milions of times. But you haven't seen them on my nails yet. So here is the picture, how it looks on my nails. I applied 1 coat.

Because I have so many new plates(BM) I had to do some stamping. I used Essence White Stampy polish and BM9. Than I applied 1 coat of G2G.

Sun
Shade

Here are 2 pictures I took on a stormy summer day. I really miss summer.
On the last one quality really sucks...
