Look By Bipa Pink Shot and pink glitter dust

Hi!

All of you who follow me on Instagram or on Facebook you know that I try to regulary show you pictures of what I got inside my windows . You can go there and check out my new polishes and nail stuff.

Today I decided to show you neon nail polish I got today in Bipa's advent calendar in combination with pink glitter dust that I got in window 9 (also Look By Bipa)

Here are the pictures of Pink Shock (2 coats)
I had some difficulties with application, but I think despite that I did quite well.

Here are my nails after I added glitter dust. This is not completely what I wanted to achieve, because I wanted to make some geometric patterns, but the base was still a bit wet when I was applying glitter dust, this is why I ended up with randomly adhered dust, but I still like it.

Colours were shifting from gold and  yellow to pink. I must say I'm not a glitter fan, but this glitter dust really impressed me, and I'll definitely try it out again.

What do you think? It is not perfect, but they say practice makes it perfect =)

Advent calendars Day 1 - Day 6

Hi!

I wanted to share this with you yesterday, but my school work is killing me (not to mention that I have poor time management skills, and I'm currently not feeling like writing, because I wrote two seminars in the past 2 weeks).
I want talk a lot, here are pictures of the things I got in my 3 advent calendars from 1st to 6th of December.

 Ciaté advent calendar:
1. hierloom, 2. check mate, 3. pom pom, 4. cutie pie, 5. bloom boost treatment and 6. snow globe
Because these are my first ciaté nail polishes I just had to make a photo session with them. Here is another picutre:

Essence advent calendar:

1. Do you hear the jingle bells? 2. kiss under the mistletoe, 3.add on magic!, 4. north pole princess, 5 see you in my dreams and a nail file shaped in Christmas stocking
Look By Bipa advent calendar:

1. toe separator, 2. top coat, 3. cuticle sticks, 4 Black Night, 5. pink/sliver caviar beads and 6. nail file with loads of pink glitter
I made a simple manicure with hierlom from Ciaté

I applied 3 coats
and used an Ugolki(literal translate is corners) stencil from Rocknailstar with Essie Licorice

I know I'm really late with publishing swatches of polishes I got in my calendars (I do post pictures on Instagram regularly). I do hope I'll swatch them by the middle of January =). I'm thinking of making a blog post for each calendar with all of the swatches. What do you think?

New in October

Hi!

Another month has passed and it is time to show you how many polishes joined my stash this month. I must say that this month I am seriously over the budget, but I think it was worth it!

First I'm going to show you polishes that I got as a birthday gifts:
From my friend Sara (she has an amazing blog if you don't know) I got 4 kiko polishes. Kiko is one of my favourites, because they are really long-lasting on my nails!
no: 29,38, 32 and 20
From my college friends I received a Depend holo. I must say that buying a polish for a nail polish junkie is like a lottery. There is a high possibility that she already has this shade, but they did it! I don't own this one and I LOVE it!
depend 2033

I also went shopping to Graz, thanks to my friend Sara! I bought a lot of nail polish brands that I haven't had an opportunity to try out. I bought:
Essie Set in Stones with free Good to Go (5 mL), Anny private party, Yves Rocher Pivoine nacre, Marionnaud Vert effronte
and
Misslyn smotthie nail polish in Sweet blacberry and yummy cherry, Look by Bipa in Glitter turquise, glitter gold and glitter lilac
and also Look by Bipa advencalendar that you can see in the last picture!

I also did some shopping on Destination Pretty! Finally! I was looking at this store for quite some time and finally decided to make a purchase. I bought these 2 pretties!
Etude House: PPK007 and Sally Hansen Extreme wear Rockstar Pink

And finally! The grand finale! I bought 3 advent calendars! I know I'm crazy, but I couldn't resist any of them. Bipa was my first one and I had to buy it in case if I could not get anyone else (I also like Bipa), next it was Ciate which was a good bargain. With a code( which is sadly not valid any more) I got it for a bit more than 35€. And of course I had to my Essence calendar. Essence was the brand that got me started and I'm still loyal to it. And it never disappoints!

I'm crazy right?
What would you like to see first?

Simpe office nails

Hi girls!

I wanted to show you my idea of office/ work appropriate nails =).
I took these picture in August 2012 and I haven't posted them before. My nails are currently really a mess so some times is really nice to have a backup picture =)

I used Look By Bipa Diamond Hardener 2 coats and Black Konad polish for stamping
I think I got my image from one unknown brand of stamping plates, but for all of you who like this image, you can also find it on Konad m3 IP.

I know times changed and now vibrant colours on nails are really common these days , but for some jobs there still has to be a classic sheer/transparent manicure. Don't you agree?
My perfect job would be somewhere where I could wear anything I'd like =).
Do you have any problems with wearing vibrant colours  at your work?

Here is one very funny thought:
Many of you know that I study Chemistry, but I really don't talk about that a lot here =). My favourite part in chemistry is organic chemistry. Now you all probably think, great, go for it! But here's a little trick. In organic chemistry chemists use acetone, ethyl acetate and many other solvents on daily base. You can imagine what would that do to my freshly painted nails =).

Do you have any problems with your nails/nail polish at work?
Please share your toughs and experiences with me =)

Flash orange got a tribal tattoo and a giveaway update =)

Hi!

Yesterday I showed you pictures of flash orange from Look By Bipa and today I'm going to show you how I upgraded this manicure with a little help from Bundle monster plate =).
I used Essence Black polish from B&W LE =).

I really don't like orange on my nails, this is why I removed this manicure really fast =).

What do you think about this one?
Do you like wearing orange on your nails? Do you like wearing orange clothes?

An now to the giveaway update =).

Help!

Hi!

Sorry for no posting for quite a while, I was really lazy and tired. Here is a polish that I wanted to show you for a while, but I was too lazy to show you.
It is 2 coats of flash orange form Loook by Bipa. It applied really well, but since I really don't like orange it went off my nails really fast. It was also really difficult to catch the real colour. The most color accurate picture is on the last picture.

Let's look at the pictures:

What do you think? It looks quite poisonous right?

Now off  to the HELP part =).

I entered a competition on facebook page, and I'd like to win, but for that I need as many likes as I can possibly get. So I'd like to ask all of you ladies that have facebook to like my picture on Facebook on this link(you have to like page Zapikonai too). Thank you all!
