Three challenge part 1-3: futuristic
It's time for the third manicure in three challenge
For this part of challenge I had to make something futuristic looking. I found one interesting piece of clothing in the Internet, but I failed recreating it on my nails.

Interesting right? I would never wear it, but it really looks futuristic. doesn't it? =)
To continue with my nails
I wanted to use striping tape to create clear lines, but my nail polish wasn't completely dry and I ruined everything in my first try so in my second try I decided I'll just do everything with free hand. I won't count how many new grey hair did I get because of this manicure, but I'm pretty sure it was quite a lot and in the end I was really happy that at least I have something to show you, although it turned out far more worse that I ever imagined.

It's really not what I wanted to create, but at least with this colour combination and metallic colour everything looks futuristic, don't you agree?

DeleteNot a fail! I like it, definitely represents the dress. That silver is amazing, too! Looks like it's a one-coater but so opaque and pretty!
ReplyDeleteAmanda, thank you =). The silver is CG Millennium and it's a one coater =). I use it only for stamping, but one day I really have to do a foul nail manicure wit it, just to check if I like it =)

DeleteI use Sony DSC-W80 camera, the pictures above were taken under Philips 56Watt daylight light bulb =). I don't have a lightbox, I only have a lamp with this light bulb and I just put my nails close enough to the lamp that I get only white light =). I hope my answer was helpful =)
