Hi!

I'm probably really late for a Valentines day manicure, right?
I made this manicure quite some time ago also with a tutorial for SLO store, and because I promised I'll give them copyright for my pictures I didn't publish my manicure here. Because I loved my manicure and I really enjoyed wearing it, I just had to break my promise and publish it here. 

Here it is, my beloved ombre heart manicure:


I used: 
 for base 2 coats Essence Iced Latte
for hearts OPI Malaga Wine and Essence White hype ( B&W LE)


Here is another picture
I think that Essence Ice Latted is the most realsitic here, on pictures above it is a bit to pink and pale 
( but maybe it's just my commputer)

I know that all hearts aren't the same shape and don't have a perfect gradient, but I still love it =)

I used scotch tape to achieve this look. Would you like to see a tutorial fot this look?

Fleur de Sante Fast dry top coat

This post will be in Slovenian language again, because I'm reviewing items from SLO Fleur de Sante.
( Only 3 more review and I'll be back with you in English only)

Danes vam bom predstavila še en izdelk, ki je na voljo na spletni strani FdS SLO.  
Tokrat sem se odločila da vam predstavim Nadlak, ki sem ga dobila od FdS.
 
 

Kot lahko vidite ni popolnom prozoren, ampak je rahlo obarvan, kar pa se ne pozna na nohtih, ko lak uporabiš. 

 

Ker na laku piše hitrosušeči nadlak, sem morala najprej stestirati hitrost sušenja. Moram priznati, da sem bila navdušena nah hitrostjo sušenja. Na tržišču je mnogo izdelkov, ki obljublja hitro sušenje laka, ampak ko ga uporabiš se vse skupaj suši še dlje časa. 

Ker sama dostikrat manikuro popestrim z raznimi vzorčki ali nail artom, pa mi je zelo pomembno tudi, da nadlak ne razpače vzorčka. Tukaj me je ta lak malenkost razočaral saj je razpacal moj nail art. Na sliki se najbolje vidi na prstancu, kjer je nadlak razpacal srebrne pike.

 


 Vzorček sicer ni bil drastično razpacan, ampak verjetno bi bila pri vzorčkih narejenih s šablonami drugače, saj opažam, da so te manikure dosti bolj občutljive na nadlak, kot pa vzorčki, ki so narejeni z debelejšimi plastmi laka. 

Za hitro sušenje mu dam oceno 5/5
Ker pa je razpacal vzorček je moja končna ocena nadlaka 4/5

Nadlak bi priporočila tudi drugim, se posebej puncam, ki na svoje manikure ne dodajajo raznih vzorčkov ali nail artov.

 I was really surprised upon how fast this top coat dried. There are a lot of top coats on the market that are promising fast drying, but not a lot of them work. This is one of the working ones. Al tough it has one weakness, it smudged my nail art design, and this is really important for me. My final rating was: 4/5

Broken snake skin

Hi!


Today I decided to show my first attempt to mimic snake skin. I failed big time, this is why I named this post broken snake skin =).

Even tough I don't like it I thought it would be fun sharing it with my readers.

I used:
BarryM Lady in red as a base
for sponging: Essence: Pixie Dust & Love potion and Diamond Cosmetics Cherry Tobacco 
Stamping: BM 209 and Konad Black

It doesn't look like snake skin right?
Sometimes I just end up with a big fail, and this is why I decided to show you this. I would say that even the best bloggers have a bad polish day, but I'm really not one of the best =).

Fleur De Sante: Silvery Pink

Hi!

Today's post will be mostly in SLO language, because I am doing a review on a product from SLO Fleur de Sante. In the end I'll try tu sum up my review in english.


Pozdravljene!

Tokrat izjemoma pišem v slovenskem jeziku. Ker mi v življenju slovenščina nikoli ni ležala, vas lepo prosim, da se ne smejite preveč mojim slovničnim napakam, še posebej vejicam =).

Kot sem že v prajšnji objavi pokazala, sem od FdS SLO dobila 5 izdelkov v oceno, danes vam bom predstavila prvega. Izbrala sem si lak za nohte z imenom Silvery Pink iz linije FdS make-up. 

Nanesla sem 2 plasti laka, lak se je posušil zelo hitro, nanašal se je pa kot pesmica ( kljub majhni steklenički in čopiču). Barva me je zelo presenetila, saj sem pričakovala bolj frosty finiš in sledove čopičev, posušil pa se je v čudovit kovinski finiš(z minimalnimi sledovi čopiča). 


Obe sliki sta narejeni pod day light žarnico, saj na žalost v času slikanja vreme ni bilo primerno še za sliko na naravni svetlobi. 
Lak je izgledal potencialni kandidat za štempljanje, to pa morem še stestirati.

For my international readers:
I applied 2 coats of this polish, it dried quickly to a lovely metal finish. I didn't test it for stamping, but I think it will work great with stamping. This polish is from FdS make-up line and it is called Silvery Pink.

Fleur De sante

A while ago I was contacted by Felur De Sante from Slovenia, they offered to send me some samples for a review. Of course I couldn't decline. 
Here is what they sent me:

 There was also a tester for their new Eau de Toalette, but I managed to lose it somewhere. 

I already tested all the products and I think they are great. I especially love cuticle oil, But more you'll find out in my next posts.

Here is also a seek peek on what I'm wearing today. It was pretty easy to create.

Last week I was all foul of motivation and I was promising you some changes, but I haven't made a lot of them, yet. Now I'll finally have more time and I'll be able to dedicate a bit more of my free time to my blog, this is why I decided to make a few tutorials, a blog sale and many more interesting events. Maybe even a nail art contest? Who knows?

Pet award

HI!

You probably all thought how quickly I loose my motivation ( because of the scary post: challenge for colorfulbottle), but this time I didn't lose my motivation, the problem is that I got sick again. This is now the third time I was sick in one month. If I tell you honestly I'm pretty sick and tired of high temperature, cough, chest pain, throat ache, headache,...., but I really can't help it, all I can do is wait. I did one silly math today: in 35 days, there were 10 days that my temperature was 38°C and above. I think this is really not normal. Anyway I finally got antibiotics on Friday and hopefully when I eat all of them I'll never get sick again =). 

Because of my challenge I have to write 3 posts today, I hope I won't get to aggressive and boring in the end. I really don't like that idea, but there is no other way.

I'll start with a pet award I received ages ago from Mateja from Purple glitters. . When she tagged me I knew I just have to make a post, but with my speed it turned out to be 6 months or maybe even more =).

No off to the questions:

1. How many pets do you have and what are they?

Currently I have 3 pets. 2 turtles and a cat. I used to had a guinea pig and a canary, but  sadly they passed away 2 years ago and canary a month ago. 

 (please excuse my kitty, but she always looks sad on the pictures, although we always spoil her)

2.What is their names?

The tutles are named Michelangelo and Rafaelo ( Ohhh, I wonther where that names came from=).
An the kitty is named Meggie. 

3.How did you get them?

We got turtles because my brother got a good grade in school, but when he realized how boring they are, he stopped caring for them, since then they are in my hands, and doing much better.
Meggie was found hiding in bushes in front of our house. She was probably only a week only, starving, abandoned with an enormous dose of flees on her fur. My brother fell in love in her blue eyes, and brought her home. From that day on she is our little princess =).

4. How old are they?

Turtles about 7.
Meggie probably 2,5 years.

5. Their favorite food is...?
Meggie likes meat and cat food, she is probably the best mouse catcher in our village, and many of them end in her belly, although she has unlimited access to food in our house.
Turtles eat food that is made especially for water turtles, but they enjoy some fresh lettuce from time to time. 

6.Where are they now and what are they doing?

Turtles are swimming.
Meggie is sleeping somewhere where is hot. She doesn't have a favorite place for sleeping, she is constantly on the move.

7.Craziest thing they did?

Turtles probably never did anything crazy. Meggie is always doing something silly or crazy. Here is one silly picture:

8.The worst thing they did so far?

Meggie once ran away. She was missing for 5 days and we all tough she was dead, but she came back, and we were all happy again ( besides turtles)


9.What is their favorite thing to do?

Turtles probably like to swim?
Meggie is very playful, but very lazy too. If I had to choose it would probably be sleeping in a very hot place.


10.If they could gossip about you, what would your pet say about you?

They would probably tell you that I'm a bit crazy sometimes, and that I could get really lazy from time to time.

Glittery pink tribute

Hi!

I prepared a bit different post for today. On the 2nd February it was 10 years since my dear friend Amanda from The Nail Polish Enthusiast lost her mother. This year she decided to make a tribute post in memory of her mother by asking other bloggers to wear Tuilleries frim Lex (which was inspired by her mother) or something pink, red or inspired by tulips. Because I do not own Tuilleries,  I decided to wear something else, but I think it still looks quite similar, an most importantly it has loads of glitter inside. 
For this special post I decided to wear Tony Molly: Pinky Star
 
This is 5 coats! Thank good for fast drying top coats =).

 
No meter how much I tried to get glitter better on the camera, I failed big time. I still hope you can imagine how lovely and glittery it is in real life.



I haven't worn this nail polish before, like I was saving it for something and now I know why. I'm glad I saved it, because this polish is really amazing, like Amanda is. I know her mother would be proud of her and on her achievements, especially on Tuilleries, because it is gorgeous nail polish and top seller on Lex.

( I know I could probably make some awesome tulip nail art, but I decided to wear glitter, because Amanda loves it)

Gradient with leaves

Hi!

Remember this post? My massive purchase in September! I still haven't used all polishes I bought back than, but I did wear a lot of them. I also bought Beauty UK west end girl set, because I just love Beauty UK sets, polishes inside are really amazing, they dry fast, have high gloss, they are really amazing.
 
For this manicure I used the first 2 polishes which are also my favorites in this set.


As a base I used the lightest one. It is just amazing isn't it?
It also contains a bit of shimmer, you can see it on the bottle.

 

This polish is really beautiful on it's own and it also suited my skin tone, but it is also a perfect base for some nail art, so I just had to add something.

I decided to do a little gradient with stamping. I used the second polish in this set, dusty pink. 
This is what I got:

 

In the end I added patter with leaves from BM 11



I didn't add any TC before taking pictures. And when I added TC I bumped my nail into something, so thankfully I had at least a picture before TC =)

Challenge for colorfulbottle

Hi!

All of you girls that have been my followers from my beginnings know, that my blogging path has been quite rocky. I've been back and then I disappeared, and than I got back a little more, and so on. I always lose my motivation too quickly, but I think I found a good motivation this time. 
Yesterday I realized that I have a lot of nail polishes and stuff and it would be a shame, if I wouldn't share this with others. It sure takes a lot of time to prepare a post, but when you look back at all those pretty pictures and lovely comments it fells amazing and all the effort is repaid.
I just counted my nail polishes and I got to 360 bottles( all nail art related stuff not included)! I was completely shocked! So many pretty bottles that I don't share with you. I decided that if I do not share 3 post a week (by the end of the year) with you, I do not deserve them, and I will have to downsize to 20 bottles. It is harsh, isn't it? Well I must say that I earned it. Besides this is final chance for me to see if I'm really a blogger or not. If I fail I'll never be back again, If I success I hope I'll continue with blogging with 3 post per week. 
I also gave myself a bonus. I could have 3 weeks with less than 3 post in it,but if I get to the fourth uncompleted week I'm out and I lose 340 bottles of polish.

What do you think? Good motivation or a bit to stressful?
