Hi!

A some time ago I showed you in this post how many awesome goodies I got from Amanda from The Nail Polish Enthusiast. Because we all got so many new goodies we decided to do guest post with our new polishes. Here is what Amanda prepared:

Hi ladies! Today I have the pleasure of guest posting for Dolores! Dolores and I swap with each other as often as we can so we can both get our hands on some lovely polishes neither of us have access to in our own countries. This time, we decided to trade posts for each other to show off what we got! I couldn't pick just one polish to show you, so I decided to do a skittle mani with some sparkles on top. I started with ALL the Barry M polishes that Dolores sent me, from pinky to thumb:  Strawberry Ice Cream, Peach Melba, Lemon Ice Cream, Blueberry Ice Cream, and Berry Ice Cream (on my thumb, I'm holding the bottle). These all covered really easily in two coats.

Then, because I adore glitter, I added some various patterns on each nail to add some sparkle! On my thumb, I did some dots with giant hex glitters, my index is a gradient with loose blue glitter, I added gold stars to my middle finger, loose orange iridescent glitter in a diagonal on my ring, and Essence Nail Art Twins Carrie on the pinky (this is one I got from Dolores too!).

I know this isn't Dolores' usual style but it was the perfect time to make a glitter appearance on her blog! I hope you all enjoyed what I came up with and thanks to Dolores for getting me these lovelies! <3

xoxo,
Amanda

Don't you just love it?
Although I don't use glitter a lot I really think that Amanda rocks it!

Striping tape love =)

Hi!

I see striping tape manicure everywhere all the time, so I decided ( a while ago) to try it out, and I must say that I really LOVE what I ended up with.
I used striping tape I got from ebay, I'll make a review post in the near future (this time I mean it)

For this manicure I used China Glaze Millennium as a base and China Glaze Deviantly Daring on top. Each was applied in one coat =)

The only downside of this manicure was that it started chipping in less than a day! But at least I got to change my nails =)

Do you like it?
Have you tried striping tape manicure?

Three challenge 3-3: Wavy

11:25 PM colorfulbottle 12 Comments

I know I'm a bit late ( not a bit, but 10 days). I'm sorry about that, but I've had my reasons =)

For this part I had to make something wavy. When I looked the design on BM 209 I thought that it looks just as wavy as I want it, but when I transferred design on my nails and with this color combination it doesn't look wavy at all. Wavy or not, I liked this look, and I hope you like it too =)

Items Used:
OPI: Dutch'ya just love OPI?
BM 209 and Essence magic wand =)

I'll prepare a post containing all the pictures from threee challenge in the near future =)
