Hi,
today I'm going to show you pictures first:
Are you in love? I'm definitely in love in this color combination.
You are probably wondering why I named my post like that. I named it like that because you have click on the link that the post opens, than you look at the pictures, because I placed pictures at the beginning, and than you just love the combination. Yeah, I have a crazy day again =).
I should probably tell you what I used for this manicure. I layered 1 coat of Orly Fantasea over 1 coat of Catrice Purposely Purple, and added a coat of my new TC.
And you know what is the best part, that all pictures are realistic, because it changes when you look at your nails from different angles. My favourite look is on the 3rd picture. Which picture is your favourite?
I have an exam tomorrow, but I already know that I'm not going to pass because I didn't learn enough, so all I did today was looking through different blogs and look for some swatches of new essence products for March. I dicovered some pretty polishes so I just can't wait for them to be available in shops.
I changed my manicure today, and it was a really Valentine's day manicure horror. Can't wait to show it to you, but you'll have to wait for it until tomorrow.
Ohh, did I already told you how much I like this combination? Neh, I probably didn't. So I'll tell it again. I LOOOOOOVE IT =).
I promise I'll stop now. Have a nice day, and thank you for reading this =)
Catrice: Purposely Purple
11:52 PM colorfulbottle 10 Comments
Hi,
I meant to publish this post yesterday, but I had a bad headache so I wasn't able to look at the computer, and I just went to bed very early.
Today I'll present you a Catrice polish from Expect the Unexpected LE called Purposely Purple. It is a dark creamy purple, and 1 coater that dries really fast. The application was very good. I was over in no time. I added 1 coat of CM fast drying top coat, which disappointed me when I tried it for the first time( I applied 2 thick coats of polish over 3 coats of polish, and expected it will dry fast), but I tried it again and got really good results, though it doesn't dry as fast as Essie Good To Go.
Here are the pictures of the polish:
I wasn't able to get the right color, this polish is a bit darker, but this 2 are the only pictures that the polish didn't turn out blue.
Today I layered it with one polish from my collection and I'll upload the pictures tomorrow. I hope you'll like my layering attempt. I'm definitely loving it =)
My little obsessions
11:33 PM colorfulbottle 11 Comments
Hi,
there will be no nails today , but instead I'll show you why I mustn't go shopping any more!
I think I seriously have TOO MANY hand creams, and I think that many girls don't have as many nail polishes as I have hand creams.
Take a look at the picture:
Lemony Flutter is not really a hand cream, but I added it any way |
The saddest thing is that there are a few missing! What do you think? Do you know a girl that has so many hand creams? I guess not.
I know I seriously have to go on a hand cream diet and I really have to start using them, because sometimes I don't even use a hand cream once a week. But it is not totally my fault that I have so many of them, because it is not my fault that people buy them for my birthday and give them to me as a Christmas gift and that there was a big discount on Afrodita hand cream which is one of my favourites.
Since I'm talking about my favorites, I'm going to show you my favourite 3.
Lush Lemony Flutter, Afrodita anti age hand and nail cream, Essence protection balm vanilla&apple |
I love the first because it is really the best product I tried for my cuticles so far. The second and the third I like the most because of the smell, but sadly the last was LE and I can't find it anywhere so I'm saving it =).
The next are lip balms. I own quite a few of them, but I think that the number is not so shocking.
Let's look at the picture:
Only 9, and of course a few is missing=). How many lip balms do you have?
I decided to pick my top 3 here too
Lip Balm- Honey, Cadeavera-Strawberry, Cadeavera- Maracuja |
The first is the one I purchased last, and my brother got really upset, because I told him a few days before that I had stopped buying lip balms for a while, but that is not important, I just wanted to say that this is probably the best lip balm I ever had =)
I also wanted to include a few pictures of my stash, but I realised that I have to be alone at home to take pictures, because if someone accidentally come in my room at the wrong time, I'm literally dead, because nobody except my brother doesn't know that I have A LOT of nail polishes.
So instead of my stash I included a picture of necklaces that are currently in my treasure box. If you want you can check out all the necklaces(except the last baking) that I made here.
I guess now you can see why I named myself colorful(bottle) =) |
So what do you think, am I a big addict, are you know any bigger addicts?
I promise that there will be nails on my blog tomorrow =)
Milani 3D Digital vrs. S-he 427
11:34 PM colorfulbottle 11 Comments
Hi ladies.
I chalanged myself to visit my blog more often, because I really neglected it lately, but now I decided that I have to make at least 15 posts until the end of February. I hope I'll make it =).
For today I prepared a comprasion between 2 beautiful pink holographic polishes. I compared Milani 3D in Digital with S-he stylezone with an INTERESTING name 427 =). The color base is completely the same, but the holographic effect is slightly different, but that doesn't show up really well on pictures.
Here is a bottle comparison:
You can see, that they look a bit different in the bottles , and that Milani has more scattered holo than S-he |
Now to the pictures on nails:
I applied 2 coats of S-he on my pinkie and middle finger, and 3 coats of Digital on index and ring finger. Both dried really fast =)
I deliberately picked up the biggest picture size for you to see the holographic effect. As you can see there is only a slight difference in the holographic effect. Do you agree with me?
Would you notice that I wear 2 different polishes if I would post this pictures and say I wear 1 polish?
Though they are so close I'm still really happy to have both in my collection.
Do you own any of these 2 polishes?
Cosmetic fair
11:57 PM colorfulbottle 10 Comments
This Sunday I went on a cosmetic fair with Passing Fancy( she also has an amazing giveaway). We had a wonderful time, like we always do when we are together =), but the cosmetic fair was a bit disappointing, especially for her, because there wasn't a lot of MU and she likes MU a lot more than nail polishes, but she bought quite a few polishes though =). I was kinda disappoited, because I went there last year too, and there were more brands than this year. I really hope thet there will be more sellers there next year. Though it disappointed me, I still bought a lot of thing =).
Here are the things I bought :
Tangle Teezer
I must say that I just love this product. It is really gentle to my hair, and since I have wavy hair, it is always difficult to brush them without a single hair brake, but with this product I didn't hear the sound of hair braking even once =))))
5 nail polishes for me
Polishes for others
Magnetic: Spect. Stone, Magnetic Freakn' Violet, Magnetic: Powerful Purple |
So what do you think of my new stuff?
3D Milani
11:57 PM colorfulbottle 10 Comments
Hi!
Firstly I'd like to say thank you to all the girls that wished me luck on my Physics 1 exam. I passed =). So for a reward I could buy myself up to 5 polishes on cosmetic fair that was this Sunday. I will show you what I got in my next post.
For today I have only pictures of Milani Digital. I applied 3 coats, no TC added. It applied easily, but didn't last long on me( I got chips the first day, but it might be my fault since I didn't use base coat)
Here are the pictures:
I was able to get the last sun rays of the day =) |
The pictures show above were shot on sunset so there is a lot of yellow and orange light in it. I also took pictures of lacura polish in that light and the color there is way off, so I'll have to re swatch it again, but that is not a problem for me=)
In my LB, accurate color:
Don't you just love it?
I have to say thank you to Rebecca form Goose's glitter twice for that polish. I didn't know that Milani has a line of this amazing holo polishes and she kindly offer them to me, and she also sent me 2 beauties from this line=)
I'm sorry for not commenting on your gorgeous posts lately, but I was really lazy lately. I promise I'll get back on track =)
Swap with Rebecca from Goose's Glitter
1:01 AM colorfulbottle 16 Comments
Today I'm going to show you, what made me soooo happy that I almost jump through the roof =). In the morning a postman brought the package that Rebecca from Goose's Glitter sent me a while ago.
Before I show you the pictures I'd like to tell how I've learned a big lesson. I had sent my package to Rebecca a few days before she sent hers and the lady at the post office misunderstood me and sent the package by ship not by plane, and because I almost never check things I just went home thinking that everything is just perfect. Days went by, I throw the bill away and my package still didn't get there, but it should. And today when I got her package and she STILL didn't get mine, I got worried sick. Really, I always panic if something goes wrong, especially if I don't do something I promise in time, and since the package didn't come there I really freaked. I had to find out why is it taking so long for the package to come to the final destination. I started to search for a bill, and of course after an hour of search I realised that I probably threw it away. Then I started looking at the shipping prizes, and realised that the lady at the post office didn't charge me enough and that the package will travel there by ship, taking it from 15-20 days. Not to mention that I sent Ivana at least a dozen of mails.
I guess I learned some really voluble lessons today. Always double check, don't throw away the only prof that everything is ok, and explain to the lady at post office at least 3 times what do you want her to do =). (I didn't even get suspicious, when the lady asked me how is USA spelled in Slovenian language)
Sorry for the essay, I just had to share another mistake of mine.
To continue with the pictures. Just take a look at these beauties Rebecca sent me:
from L to R: OPI: Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow SUEDE, OPI: DS Exstravagance, OPI: Black cherry chutney, China Glaze: Lubu Heels and China Glaze: Watermelon Rind |
From L to R: ORLY: Fantasea, ORLY: Close Your Eyes. ORLY: Royal Navy, Zoya: KI, Zoya: Rihana |
From L to R: Sunful Colors: Hottie, Diamond Cosmetics: Cherry Tobacco, Del Sol: Foxy, Del Sol:Secret Crush |
From L to R: Milani: Digital, Milani: Cyberspace and Sally Hansen magic: Blue Aura |
As you can see, that was quite THE SWAP =). I'm in love in every polish she sent me, and I really can't decide which one to try out first.
Do you have a swapping angel like Rebecca? I mean LOOOK AT THEM! They are awesome! Thank you Rebeca! I hope you'll like you package too.
Have you ever learned so many lessons in one day? Feel free to share that experience with me =).
( I just might not feel so ashamed, if there is another girl like me)
Also, I'd like to say thank you for all of your comments. I know I don't comment a lot lately, but this is because I have a big oral exam on Friday, and I'm already freaked out, because I'll have to stand in front of a white board, and give lecture to my Physics professor that has at least 4343523 times more knowledge of Physics than me. I hope I pass
Did I already say thank you Rebecca? Well I might, but I'll say it again.
THANK YOU!
Pretty Pink Pants
12:55 AM colorfulbottle 10 Comments
Hi, sorry for not posting a while.
Today I'm going to show you haw I upgraded my manicure with Zoya Roxy. But before I show you the pictures I must say, that I got this idea from Rebecca from Goose's glitter, which is definitely worth a visit. I really like her manicure, and also the story, why this manicure was created. You can see her manicure here. She named her post Ugly mint pants, of course I just had to copy the name to. I only changed Ugly into Pretty because I kinda like the combination, but I can't even imagine a man wearing pants in the color of Roxy =). Rebecca, I hope you won't get too upset upon my crime. =)
Here are the pictures:
Roxy is soooooo beautiful with shiny TC. I |
I used black polish from Essence from B&W LE and also added 1 coat of Essie G2G. Sadly the dots I made with Roxy are nearly invisible.
And later I even mattified it. I kinda like the look I end up with, thouh I'm not such a big fan of matte finish.
How do you like my manicure?
I just broke my nail again( punishment for not being careful while opening the fridge) . My nails will be a lot shorter in my next post.
I'm just wearing the most beautiful green shade ever made(IMO). Which one do you think it is? Which is your favourite green shade?
Tnx for reading and commenting =)
