Catrice Treasure Trove LE Jewel Daze lipstick

 Hi!

In this post I'm going to show you swatches of a lipstick in Jewel Daze from Catrice LE Treasure Trove. I played a little bit with composition and I came up with the picture below. Please note, that the colour in the picture is not the best, IRL it is a bit more brownish.

V današnji objavi vam bom predstavila šminko Jewel Daze iz kolekcije Treasure Trove. Pri slikanju sem se malo poigrala s kompozicijo, plod mojega igranja pa lahko vidite na spodnji sliki. Rada bi opozorila, da barva šminke ni popolnoma pravilna, saj je šminka malenkost bolj rjava.




The packaging is really special and fancy. It is gold with little engraved stars. I love it!The lipstick is pigmented and "greasy"(in a good way, easy application) and it doesn't build up in "mouth wrinkles". I did not time my wear time, but I estimate it at somewhere between 2-3 hour, but it all depends on what you are doing with your lips. Lipstick is also slightly scented, but the scent washes away quickly.Embalaža je čudovita! Na zlatem pokrovčku so vgravirane zvezdice, ki pričarajo občutek dragocenosti. Šminka je super pigmentirana in se ne nabira v gubah ustnic. Ima tudi malenkost bolj mastno formulo od večine šmink ki sem jih preizkusila, ta formula pa ji omogoča lep nanos. Časa nošenja nisem spremljala, najvrjetnjeje bi bil okrog 2-3 ure, seveda pa je vse odvisno kaj delamo z ustnicami =). Šminka je tudi odišavljena, vonj se hitro porazgubi zato ni moteč.
  

In the last picture you can see how it looks on my lips. Because it has a bit of orange inside it is probably a shade that doesn't suit everyone.

Na spodnji sliki lahko vidite kako izgleda šminka na mojih ustnicah. Ker šimka vsebuje oranžno barvo najverjetneje ne pristaja vsem.

Nail Art Wednesdays #4

Hi!

For today's nail art I draw number 26 which lead me to Rainbow Swirl nail art foil. I got this one in a swap in 2011 and since then it was love and hatred between the two of us. I really like how it looks, but I seriously hate the application.

Firstly I have to appology about my pictures and my nails. I was picking apples and it has taken a tool on my nails, they are really super short right now. I also seriously hurt my cuticle in the picture I tried to cover that up with a watermark, but the red is still noticeable,

For this manicure I used:
Alessandro Green Green Baby (2 coats)
Rainbow Swirl Foil


I really don't like how this one turned out, but I had to show it to you, since I had no time to make something else. I was seriously mad when foil wrinkled when I applies top coat. I'm seriously never using this foil again!

Essence All that Greys LE

Hi!

As promised I'm going to show you swatches of Essence All That Greys eyeshadow pallete in 7 Shades of Rose and Grey that I received from Essence Slovenia. Please note that I'm not used to this type of revives so the pictures are not as good as they should be.

Danes vam bom pokazala slike palete senčil 7 Shades of Rose and Grey, ki bo na voljo od novembra v skopu kolekcije All that Greys. Slike niso ravno najkvalitetnejše, saj nisem navajena pisati tovrstnih objav in sem se pri slikanju precej lovila.

The packaging looks classy, it is something I haven't seen before. 
Embalaža izgleda elegantno, zame je celoten izgled nekaj novega, saj takšnega videza še nisem opazila.


Inside there are 7 beautiful colors, 3 pinks and 4 greys. With these you can probably make an office appropriate make up and also something suitable for ladies night if you use a lot of dark grey.

Paleta vsebuje 3 roza in 4 siva senčila. Paleta je primerna za dnevni make up, lahko pa se uporabi tudi kot večernega, saj paleta vsebuje tudi nekaj temnih odtenkov.


 Swatches of eyeshadows:
 Slike senčil:
from 1-3
od 1-3
3 pink shades all with shimmer (the most realistic colour are seen in the pallete).
3 roza odtenki s shimrom (realne odtenke lahko vidite na paleti).

 from 4-6
od 4-6
3 grey shades all with shimmer (realistic colours on the palette).
3 sivi odtenki s shimrom (realna barva v ozadju na paleti).

Number 7 (the last shade) is a dark grey (I used is as a liner on my MU). 

Odtenek številka 7 je temno sive barve, s katerim sem naredila črto nad in pod veko.


And a picture of MU I did with this pallete. 
Colours are not so close to realistic colours( in the picture the colours are more pale), because I don't have the experience to take better picures (also the lightning didn't help me)

Slika make upa, ki sem ga naredila s paleto. 
Barve niso popolnoma realne (na sliki so bolj blede), ker nisem ravno izkušena s slikanjem, prav tako sem imela probleme z osvetlitvijo.


On my eyes closed with the numbers of eyeshadowa that were used. I'm really sorry for a bad picutre.

Untried Polish Challenge - Nrutral

Hi!

It's time to publish another manicure from Untried Nail Polish challenge. This time I had to make something neutral. I decided to use H&M duo nail polish set that I bought in September. I also tried to incorporate leaves since it is fall to have an excuse to finally try out my Red Angel image plates I received in my latest swap.

For this manicure I used:
H&M duo set, beige as a base and darker brown for stamping
Red Angel Stamping plates: RA-104 and RA-115

This is how it turned out:
 Maybe I should do something else to achieve a more neutral look, but I think that is still matches the theme.


Do you like it? Do you have Red Angel plates? They don't ship to Slovenia this is why I asked Amanda (my swapper) if I can order them to her house and then she ships them out to me, and she agreed and made me really happy!

What's new at Essence?

Hi!

In this post I'm going to share with you 3 limited editions from Essence. Some are already out there and you probably heard at least about one of them (Advent Calendar)


In October Essence launched 24h hand protection balm trend edition that includes 3 different hand balms with very pretty packaging. I already saw them at Muller, but I didn't decide to purchase because I have too many hand creams at the moment (I do hope I don't see them again, since they look super cute). Nail Art Wednesdays #3

Hi!

Time for the third manicure out of 40 planed in my Nail Art Wednesdays challenge. This time not only that I did some nail art, I also chose all of the polishes from my untried polishes box. I really rarely or practically never wear green on my nails (the only 2 colours I avoid more are yellow and brown), this is why I really don't understand how it is possible that I have about 10 green polishes in my untried pile (OK, I do understand why they are untried, but I do not understand WHY I BUY THEM???).

For this manicure I used:
Kiko: 32 Lime green
Sinful Colours: Happy Ending
Peripera: Metallic green
China Glaze: Jolly Holly
stripping tape and cosmetic sponge
Essie Good To Go
You can see that my manicure cracked on my ring and middle finger. The reason for that is that I applied fast drying top coat on top of my manicure very sloppy 
 You can see that I did and awfully bad clean up, I really have to start thinking about buying liquid palisade or something similar.

I just had to add a different picture in my post, a little close up on the gradient. 


I really like it was on my nails for 4 days and this rarely happens! It looks like I'm TURNING GREEN =)

Can't Find My Czechbook but thankfully I have my credit card

Hi!

Today I'll show you a manicure I made in 2013 when I bought my OPI Euro Centrale mini set.
For this manicure I used Can't Find My Czechbook ( 2 coats no top coat)

Later I updated it with gold gradient with Another Polish Joke and I also added some stamping on my ring finger. I used Essence stamping plate (I don't know the number) and BarryM Gold foil for the design.



It came out great I think. I really loved wearing this one!

Untried Polish Challenge - Three Colors

Hi!

This Untried Polish Challenge is getting better and better, maybe also harder?! For this manicure I had to use 3 different nail polishes from my untried box. Firstly I draw 3 different nail polishes and wanted to make something special out of it, but it was too much of a challenge for me, that's why I kept only the dusty pink base and replaced green and blue with two other polishes. I must admit that I do not regret my choice because I really like how this manicure turned out.

For this manicure I used:
Catrice Ultimate Nudes: Karl Says Tres Chic
MUA: Shade 3
Catrice Luxury nudes: Way Too Beautiful

This picture is a bit off on the colour accuracy but I just had to add 3 pictures out of a habit


When looking at the box with my untried nail polish I seriously ask myself why do I have so many glitter nail polishes if I really am not a fan of glitter. Because of this challenge I'll have to try them out and if all attempts will be close to this I think that nail society will get another glitter fan =).

It kinda reminds me of galaxy nails only the colours are off =)

Nail art Wednesdays #2

Hi!

It's another Wednesday and it is time for another nail art manicure. This time I draw number 15. Green foil. I bought this foil with a bunch of others on eBay quite some time ago. Once I tried out one of them, but it did not turn out the way I wanted. Because of that fail I never used foils again (and I have quite a few of them). It was about time that I tried using them again.

I wanted to achieve the look of uneven metallic stripes, but I failed to get a good transfer on my middle and ring finger. Because it didn't look the way I wanted, I fully covered this two nails with foil and than added stripes with my base polish. It is something completely different that I wanted to achieve, but I must admit that I quite like this in-organised look.  
For this manicure I used:
Nicole By OPI: Alex by the Books
Green foil from eBay
and lining brush
After looking at pictures I realised that all of the pictures have a lot of shine because of the foils. 



What do you think it is a fail or acceptable?
I hope my next foil attempt will look prettier.

Essence all that greys limited edition

This November Essence prepared a special trend edition that will take us to glamour of Hollywood.

It's time for another big mix post!!!!

These pictures are at least 3 years old, probably even older, but they deserve to be published =).
Looking at this pictures really makes me wonder where'd my nails go? The looks so pretty and healthy, but now they are constantly pealing and breaking. It's probably my fault since I don't take care as much as I used to did.

Untried Polish Challenge - Two Colors

Hi! 
It's Friday! Time for another manicure from Untried Polish Challenge.
For today I prepared manicure that I wanted to do immediately when I received my swap package from Amanda.
Through my 7 years of nail polish obsession I really changed my taste in colour and finish of nail polish, but I'm still not a glitter fan. When I saw Scandalous and Sparkling I said that this two beauties have to be mine someday, and now they are =))).

Now back to my manicure. For the base I used Essie Licorice (2 coats) flowed by one coat of Scandalous on my ring finger. I love the end result! I really don't like black on my nails, but this manicure looks classy to me.

I'm really starting to enjoy this challenge, thankfully I have so many untried nail polishes that I can probably repeat this challenge at least twice.

Nail Art Wednesdays #1

Last week I was doing deep cleaning at my nail polish department (the whole space under my bed) and I realised that I have a lot of nail art related things (stripping tape, stickers, tip guides, decals, beads, rhinestones, foils, liners and pens etc.). Most of these thing have never been used and because I bought them to be used not to lay under my bed I decided to do nail art on Wednesdays.

I made myself a list of things I have and numbered them. Now I'll draw numbers and challenge myself in some nail art. I hope I'll make something pretty and wearable =).

For the first manicure I decided to do something easier, since I haven't used any nail art stuff (only stamping plates) in a while. I  used rhinestones I got in a swap in 2011. I'm really ashamed but these haven't been used before. It was about time to do something like this and get my nail art skills on a higher level.

I used:

Zoya Areey

Hi!

Today I'm going to show you one of the Zoyas I got from Amanda in a swap this September.

Zoya Areey is a beautiful vivid pink nail polish. It is super pigmented, because on some nails I got full coverage with the first coat, although I applied the second one. It dried really fast. Just a few minutes after the last coat of colour I added Konad from m79 and you can see that my ring finger has not been damaged by the pressure of the stamp. 


 When taking pictures I realised that I have similar ribbon somewhere. I just had to incorporate it in the picture =)

Something like this is usually my manicure when I'm in a hurry and I have no time to look for that perfect stamping plate. My favourite design used to be flowers form m64, but then I felt like I'm using it too much =)
Which is one your favourite design to use for stamping?
