BarryM Lady in Red

Hi!

Today I have pictures of BarryM Lady in Red prepared for you. This is one of the 5 nail polish that BarryM produced to celebrate their 30 years of making cosmetic products. (I'm still sorry I didn't buy that peach colour, because if it is at least half as good a this one, it is worth the attention)

On to the swatches:
I aplied 2 coats, the second probably just out of habit, since this one is super pigmented.
Because it's good pigmentation also works great with stamping. I once compared it to Konad special polish in Red and the winner was BarryM, not Konad.
The shimmer in this polish is just amazing. I really don't own anything similar.
Despite a lot of golden shimmer there are no visible brush lines.

Because the bottle of the polish says retro red and not Lady in Red I had to check on line for swatches and realised that there are not a lot of swatches of this polish which is quite sad, because this gorgeous colour should definitely get more attention. Shouldn't it?

Hi!

I had a lot of really old manicures that deserve to go public, but since they are so old I managed to save only a picture or two of a manicure

The first one is China Glaze Ahoy stamped with Bundle Monster 221 over a pale pink ( I don't know the name of the nail polish since this picture is about 4 years old).
I was never a pink person until I met Ivana from Ivana Thinks Pink, but even now I'd pick purple or blue over pink any time. But when it comes to Ahoy! the story is completely different. I really can't remember where or when I got this one, but it was love at first sight and now I own 3 bottles of this gorgeous colour =).

In this picture there is S-he stylezone 155 stemped with China Glaze Ahoy! and BM plate no. 019.

The last one is Essence Style me Love from Nails in Style LE.
I stamped it over with Konad special nail polish in black and stamping plate m57. Although I'm not a fan of animal print, I really LOVED this one. I'm already thinking about recreating this manicure.

Do you have some old pictures waiting to be publishes on your flash drive?

China Glaze Short & Sassy

Soooo...

it's been a long time ( more than 2 years to be more precise ). I suddenly got an urge to write something on my blog which needs a serious update.

This time I'm going to show a beautiful dark red shimmer-a classic from China Glaze, China Glaze Short & Sassy. This was probably one of the first nail polishes from China Glaze I liked and is probably the reason why my love for China Glaze emerged.

This pictures are from my archive and are at least 3 years old (sorry for the awfully dried out cuticle)
You can see how it comes to life in the sunlight. I never regret putting this one on my WL, the only thing I regret is that I wore it only once! (I know, shame on me)
I also played with some stripping tape, but it is more of a fail than a success. It looks like I'l have to play with tape more often.
I wish you all a lovely day and happy bogging!
