Tip top Nails
Hi!
Today I'm going to present you one of my favourite brands! I don't know this brand for a long time, but when I tried it I immediately fall in love in it. Now here is the story about how I got those new beauties in my collection =)
A while ago wonderful Joan from Tip Top Nail contacted me if I'd join their challenge on FB, and I said I'm really busy but I gave a kind compliment on their polishes, and she was so nice that she offered me to send me something. I was expecting one bottle of nails polish, but when my package came I was really speechless =). I got 3 Nail chic polishes, one crackle polish, quick dry top coat and cuticle oil! I didn't know where to start with watching but in the end I decided to start with the pink one!
You probably all heard about Tip Top Nails from South Africa, but I think that I should thell you a little bit about them!
Tip Top Nails was founded in 1981, and since that time they become the biggest retail nail brand selling out of our largest chain stores in South Africa. And because their quality is just too good not to be available for the girls from all over the world they decided to go international! I really hope that they come to Slovenia some day =).
Their products are cruelty free and don't contain formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate, toluene and camphor.
They offer a wide spectra of colours and their quality and application is great.
Here is what Joan sent me:
I started swatching the pink one, it is called Tickled Pink
This is one of the most beautiful pink polishes I have in my collection!
I used 2 coats, application was flawless and the polish dried quickly
Next is Armourplate ( I love the name)
I applied 2 coats, (I could have gotten away with only one if I were more careful with the first one), great application, great brush, dried fast
This one is a lovely metallic silver, it dried a bit frosty, but it didn't bother me. I'll definitely be using this one a lot, especially for stamping because it stamps awesomely =)
Here is a proof how great it stamps =)
The last on from NailChic line is Creme De Banana
This one took 3 coats, but just because my Light Box has a strong light =)
Again flawless application, great dry time. I don't like that colour a lot, but I don't hate it ether.
After the first swatching day my nail broke so I had to file them down, so my swatches of crackling polish are made with much shorter nails and the lightning was bad, and I didn't have my lightbox with me so these 2 pictures seriously lack in quality
For this one I used 2 coats of Black polish from BeautyUK and one coat of U Crack Me Up from Tip Top Nails in silver.
I didn't apply any top coat, because I really liked matte look =)
( crackle polish dried matte)
I also received quick dry top coat and cuticle oil in my package! I tested them both and here is my opinion:
Quick dry top coat doesn't dry as fast as Seche Vite, but it still dries quickly and it has a great shine. I like it a lot
Cuticle oils is the one that impressed me the most. I've been using it for a week now and I just love how nourishing it is to my cuticles. and it is not to greasy =). Really great product!
Some day I just have to try out Miraculous results( nail build base coat), because I think this is the most recommended item from their line.
