My first french manicure

Hi!

As promised I'm going to show you my very first french manicure today, but before I show you the pictures of my manicure I have to tell you something else =).

A bit more than a week ago I got a lovely gift from Maja and Gregor, the owners of Slovenian internet store ličila.si. It was a complete shock, but I don't mind being surprised like that.
This is the set I'm talking about:

A set of 6 polishes( you can see some pretty pastels hidden in the box) from beautyuk called urban girl.
I wore every single polish from this set, and I must say that they really surprised me in a positive way. They  apply like a butter, the colors are gorgeous, the wear time is awesome, the price is really affordable and if I compare the price with the quality, they are ridiculously cheap =). And I must say that I was the most surprised with the white one, because it applied really easy and it was opaque in 2 coats, and we all know that this is pure heaven for a white polish. The only bad thing about this set is, that they come in set, so you can't decide which ones to buy and sadly they don't have names.

All my Slovenian readers can buy this set(and a lot more) on their web page(licila.si).
Because they are so kind I think that they would also love to assist all the girls that aren't from Slovenia, so all of you who don't have access to the things they sell, feel free to send them an e-mail.

Now off to my first french manicure.
I've always hated classical french manicure, that dreadful white tip always made me sick. I did give it a try many times, but I never got to the point that I'd say that this is it, I like it. But than I finally realised, that I could try adding a little extra on the white tip, to make it a bit more acceptable. And this is what I did this time, and I must say that I'm quite satisfied with the result.

I used scotch tape to make the white line( of course I had to use the white polish from urban girl set) and konad m44 and Lacura cyclam for the stamping on the tip.
This is what I got:
Of course I had to add one of my necklace to the picture, but they looked so good together =).

But I had to experiment with it a bit, so I added Del Sol Foxy and butterflies from konad m78.
For all of you who don't know that already: Del Sol polishes change colors if they are in direct sunlight! =)

This is how it looked in shade
And this is how it looked on the sun =)

Isn't it awesome?
I sure did enjoy playing with this polish=))

What do you think about my first real french manicure? Did I go overboard?
Do you own any Del Sol polishes?
Which polish from the urban girl set would you like to see next?

And for the end I have to show you, how I played with this manicure and my orchid. It isn't perfect, but I like the way it looks =)

Have a nice day!

Peachy Keen

Hi!

Today I'm going to show you another old manicure, but I really like the way it turned out and this is why I decided that I'm going to show you this one first =).
I started off with 2 coats of Peachy Keen from China Glaze, but  I really didn't like the color, so I decided to give it an upgrade =). But take a look at Peachy Keen on it's own on my nails =)
I got this one from Ivana to try out.
Thank you dear =)

And as I already said I had to spice it up and also cover the color, because I didn't like the way it looked on me. Here is what I got:
I used BM 16 and Lacura polish in Cherry ( I think)

I was really in love in this manicure, and I can't wait to try this design again =)
Another picture:

Like it?

Tomorrow I'm going to show you my first french manicure =)
Have a nice day!

Should I use random.org to decide which pictures to show you first?
Should I throw a dice?
Should I concider the time when the pictures were taken?

After all of the questions I decided that I'm going to start where I left. In my last post I asked all of you, if you can like my picture in one Facebook contest. With you help I was the second and I was able to spend 10€ in Slovenian internet store Za Piko na I. I bought China Glaze Millennium and Konad plates m78 and m60.
Of course I had to try everything out=).

For this manicure I used Essence Show your feet Purple Magic(2 coats), konad m78 and China Glaze Millennium.
I'ts not perfect, and my nails on this picture are really short, but I liked the final result.

This picture is quite old, because my nails are much longer now and I already broke one in the meanwhile =).

Enjoy your Sunday =)

Hi!

It's been a long time since I've written my last post, and I do apologise to all of you, my dear readers, but I realised, that I spend way too much time on the internet since I'm the blogsphere. And probably if Nail crazy hadn't sent such a lovely mail , I probably wouldn't have come back for a while.
Thank you Nail crazy!

And since It's been such a long time I didn't know where to start, but I decided that I'll start with some good news ( for me).

I won 2 giveaways in one week, but of course, because I haven't been around much, I wasn't able to show you pictures before.

But here they are now:
The first one I hot from Summer from The Dollhouse Diary
I'ts OPI: Miami beet

and the second I got from Martje from Girly-Addictions
You can see that there is loads of things, but my favourite is definitely the card <3
These were my first giveaways I won(and probably last)

Thank you both!

I also did 2 swaps, but I only have pictures from the first one, and I'd love to take pictures of the second, but I have all the thing I hot at my student dormous, and I dodn't know when I'll go there again, but when I do, I'll definitely take some pictures =).

The first swap I made with Vetten from Vettelicious
We agreed only for 2 nail polish rings, but look at the picture, I got way more than only 2 rings. I love everything I got, and I can't wait to try it. I already wore the rings, but sadly I haven't taken any pictures.

The second swap I made with Martje from Girly Addictions

I got 2 GORGEOUS holographic polishes from Teez and also 2 Vichy products. I already wore one of the polishes, but I didn't take any pictures =(. This was probably my intention, because I don't have pictures, I definitely have to wear it once really soon =).

I'll show some pictures of this swap as soon as possible =).

Thank you both, for the lovely thing I got. I definitely loooooooove them =).

Now to the sad part. You probably noticed that I still haven't declared my GA winner. I'm really not sure when I'll do that since I got a lot of entries and I don't know when I'll have enough time to go through all the entries. Hopefully as soon as possible =)

This is it for this post. I'l probably be back with some nails pretty fast, because I have loads of manicures to share with you =)
