Zoya Roxy and only 24 hours to enter my giveaway!

11:44 PM colorfulbottle 13 Comments

Hi! Sorry I disappeared for a while again, but I had to help my father to empty the apartment of an uncle that died a month ago, so I had loads of cleaning to do. I also helped smashing the furniture, boy, that felt good =). It took us 2 full days to empty and clean the apartment. I broke my left hand middle finger nail right after we finished the work, I was really angry since my nails didn't damage during smashing, but it broke while I was washing the dishes.
Also our pet guinea pig died so those weren't the best days of my life. The only thing that made me feel better was my nails since I wore such a beautiful polish, Zoya:Roxy.
I'm not feeling really chatty so I'll only post the pictures of my nails:

a bit blurry to see the sparkle

I'm sorry about my pinkie cuticle, I really didn't notice it before taking pictures. I should probably say that I really don't like the length of my index nail , but I really don't want to shorten other nails. I hope they will grow fast, to make my nails more evenly long.
I should mention, that pictures were taken after 2 days of wear, and I also mentioned before that I was really using my hands for the past 2 days, I know that you can count these two facts together. I think that the wear is amazing, and the tip wear is almost invisible.

You have only 24 hours to enter my GA, I will announce the winners 5 minutes after midnight (GMT+01:00) .
Good luck to all of you!

Glittery commercial

2:09 AM colorfulbottle 6 Comments

Hi!!!!

Firstly I'd like to say welcome to all of my new followers, and also thank you all for following me =). I think that I'll soon have to start thinking about 350+ giveaway to say thank you =). I really never expected to have so many readers. THANK YOU =).
To continue with the post. I just didn't know how to name this post, is I gave it a silly name. Glittery because I have a special glittery polish for you today, and commercial, because I'l make a commercial for my friend's blog. =)

I decided to start with the polish. Many of you may still remember the nail mail I got from Ivana ( I showed it a few posts ago). With your help I decided that I'll try Kleancolor- Vegas night first. I applied 3 coats, though fourth would probably be needed. I kinda struggled with the applications, since this was the first only glitter polish I tried, but still managed to make it look average. I didn't use any top coat, but I think that if I would, I would definitely make it shine even more =). The polish consists blue and purple glitter, from which blue is in majority.   OK, I won't bore you with the description, lets take look at the pictures:
blue and purple glitter, I really hope you can see it

a bit blurry to see the sparkle
And 2 pictures with bottle in my hands:

So how do you like it? I like it a loooooot, though about 3 months ago, I couldn't even stand a single look at the glitter *blush*.
I'm sorry for badly shaped index finger, but I had a really bad crack and I had no choice, but to file them down all the way. I hope the'll grow a bit longer soon.

So, now it is probably time for a commercial. You may go get a snack or go to the toilet now =).
Just kidding! A few post ago I mentioned that my friend just started a blog, and since you all know how it is like to be at the begging,  I decided to make a commercial for her, despite the fact that I have to show you my pictures because of that.

Her blog is about her MU, nail polish and polymer clay( her cupcake charms are really adorable) . You can visit her here.
Here is one of her creations:
I know the MU isn't really visible in the picture and the colors are a bit off( my eyes should be brown and MU purple), but I just wanted to show you, that her MU made me look a bit less ugly that I am. Whoever achieves that, must be a really good =).
At the time that this picture was shoot, we didn't have a clue that we will be blog owners and will need a better MU pictures.

Here is another picture, also her MU, but I think that even if you enlarge the picture you won't see the MU clearly, I added it just for fun, and that you'll see, that I just love rum =).
This picture was shot by Urša Tomažin =)

This is it for today.

Oh, I totally forgot, I should probably add something in this style: GO CHECK OUT HER BLOG!

Coming next: Zoya: Roxy

It's time for my last review for Born Pretty store. Today I'll review Kddis strawberry favoured cuticle oil.(no. 4 on the picture below)

This was the only product that disappointed me a bit. I really thought that it would have a pleasant strawberry smell, and my hands will smell a bit strawberry like for at least a while, but the smell is so subtle that I couldn't even smell it when using it unless I put it right under my nose, but I guess this is good fir girls who don't like strong scented cosmetics.

Right before massaging it into cuticle
The effect wasn't that bad, and the packaging is great for a trip,l because it it plastic, and won't broke easily.
After application and massaging it was kind of sticky, but it didn't bothered me.

I probably wouldn't buy it, because I already found my cuticle Holy Grail.

This was my last review. I hope you liked them. Tomorrow I'll present you the first only glitter polish that I tried, and I'll also add a surprise to the post( some bonus pictures and maybe even a video)

Kelier Crackle polish in black review

1:10 AM colorfulbottle 16 Comments

It's time to review the Kelier crackle nail polish(no.3 on the picture below) from Born Pretty store.
I had I 2 problems with this polish, but when I realised what I was doing wrong I got a pretty cool effect on my nails =).
The first problem was, that this polish doesn't work well with dry nail polishes! It just doesn't stick to it and peels right of when dried.
My second problem was , that I applied the crackle polish on a wet nail polish too fast, and the result was that even the base polish cracked. I really didn't like that result.

To solve my last problem I did a little test. I polished my nails with the base and than waited for 2 minutes and then apply crackle polish on the first nail, than I waited 3 minutes and applied crackle polish on the second nails. In the end I compared the results of the cracking effect, and the one I was most satisfied with was the look I got after 6 minutes.

The only thing I had to do is to make a manicure that included 6 minutes of drying time for a base =)

I used gold polis from Beautyline as a base 2 coats.

Here is the look I got:

Daylight

My favourite crack

Under my daylight lamp

I am really impressed by the final look. I have to warn you only about one thing. You should apply a top coat right after the cracking process ended, because if you don't the crackle polish will chip really fast. I took pictures of my manicures 2 hours after I painted my nails, and you can already see, that the polish chipped at my tips.

The polish contains 15ml
The price is 4,52$
you can get it in 8 colors

I just couldn't stop looking at my nails, because I really liked the effect.

How do you like it?
I usually don't like gold color at all, but I'm really in love in this look =)

O.B.I. nail polish remover( Melon flavoured)

11:23 PM colorfulbottle 12 Comments

Hi!
In this post I'm gonna review another product from Born Pretty store. As I already wrote in the title I'm going to tell you something about O.B.I. nail polish remover ( No.2 on the picture below)

To tell you honestly, I really didn't expect a product like that. I imagined that the pads inside will be approximately as big and thick as cotton pads I usually use for my nail polish removal, but they weren't. Here is a size and thickness comparison (I'm sorry for the crappy fist picture):

O.B.I. pad is on the left, and normal cotton pad is on the right

Thickness comparison: The thinnest is O.B.I. pad and the thickest is a normal  cotton pad
It was really finny when I was holding the pad, since I'm not used to such thin pads, but I got the hang of it pretty fast.
This was my first surprise, but that  wasn't all. When I opened the round box I expected to get a strong smell of a nail polish remover combined with a  melon smell, but there was only a pleasant and soft  melon smell. My first thought was: There is NO WAY this thing will remove nail polish from my nails!, but I was wrong again. It removed nail polish easily and really fast, and the best part of it, was(besides a pleasant smell) that it is full of oils so it didn't dry out my nails as removers usually do.

I used 3 pads per hand . And you can see that I tried my best not tu use them a lot since I'd like do use them again. and again and again....

One package contains 32 pads and it will probably last me for 5 removals.

On the picture below(another crappy picture!) you can see how my nails shines after the removal, and I swear that I didn't apply anything on my nails.

Also I'm sorry for the badly stained nail , I still haven't found a base coat that would prevent the yellow stains on them.

The price for one package is 1.65$ which is not a lot for 5 removals that don't dry out your nails. I strongly recommend this to you, because it doesn't smell bad,  it removes nail polish really nicely and doesn't dry out the nail. What else do you want from a nail polish remover?

Coming up next: the crackle polish !

Born Pretty Dici nail polish in Classical red REVIEW

10:29 PM colorfulbottle 9 Comments

Hi, as I mentioned in my previous post, I have to write a review on some products that I received from Born Pretty store. Today I will review a DICI nail polish in Classical red, but firstly I'd like to show you a picture of the products I got.

From 1 to 4, DICI Classical red, O.B.I melon flavoured nail polish remover, Kelier black crackle polish and  Strawberry flavoured cuticle oil
I think that I got quite a generous package. I decided that I'll start reviewing no.1 and finish with no.4.

This is my first review so pleas warn me if I forget to mention something that might be important to you.=)

Born Pretty is one of many internet stores that sell nail art and nail care related items( they sell other beauty related items as well). They claim that they manufacture nail art products and sell them at the best price and provide the best service.  I totally agree with their statement, because I really think that their products aren't expensive, not to mention that they have special coupon codes and offer quantity discounts.  I was also really impressed with their service, Jessica Tan is really a kind person and is always there to answer any questions that may appear. Since you all know that if nail polishes aren't nicely secured  during the shipping , bottles can easily break, but my polishes were so secured that even I a really strong guy with a hammer wouldn't hurt them =). I think that this is a really important factor for me when deciding to buy a nail polish online.
I have to mention only one thing, the SHIPPING is FREE!

To continue with my first reviewing victim. I decided that I'll start wit DICI Classical red 048, because I'm a sucker for shimmery reds =).
I applied 2 coats of polish. The brush is long and no too wide so there were no problems with application. The polish dried pretty fast.
I just love the colour of this one, and the shimmer adds depth to the polish.

Here are the pictures:

The polish it self is quite shiny, but I just wanted to compare the shine of the polish with the shine that polish gets when top coat is applied.

Here is what happend:

pinkie and middle finger are with Essie G2G, ring and index finger are without TC. You can see, that  TC makes the shimmer more visible and makes polish a bit more brighter.
It contains 16ml of polish
The price:
1+ 2.85$
3+ 2,97$
5+ 2.73$
10+ 2.59$

Don't forget to use my 10% off code! ( BOTTLE20 )

Next: O.B.I. nail polish remover

I hope this will restore my polishing power =).

Anyway I got an award from a lot of bloggers lately and I really think that it would probably be a perfect time to write a post only about awards =)

Sometimes I just love the postman no.2

11:08 PM colorfulbottle 17 Comments

Hi, sorry for being MIA for a few days, but I've been busy. I had to learn for my Physic exam, Meggie had a really bad constipation and  I really panicked, and I was helping my father making firewood.
I really don't wanna bore you with all that, so I'm going to show you what came unexpectedly on Wednesday.
Ivana sent me A LOT of nail polishes, and I really can't decide which one to try out first so I'll ask you for a favour, but firstly I'll show you the pictures:

China Glaze from L to R:
Peachy Keen, Flying Dragoon( neon), For Audrey

Essence and Catrice from L to R:
Forever Mine, My Boyfriend's jeans, Purposely Purple

Sally Hansen From R to L:
27, Vip Pink, 28

 Zoya and Kleancolor:
Roxy and Vegas night

 BYS: Mauve- in on up

and a group photo
IVANA, THANK YOU! =)

As I mentioned it before I really need your help. I can't decide which one to try out first, so I'm asking you: Which one would be your first pick?

Probably an hour ago the pool about which finishes do you like the most ended. Holographic finish ended up first, on the second place were shimmer and glitter. Frost and foil finish shared the last place. To be honest I expected that frost finish will not get a single vote, but it got 4.

And a poor picture of a nail polish I wore a couple of days before. 2 coats of Essence Bonnie + 1 coat of Essie good to go. The color isn't real but this is the best shot I could get

You are probably wondering why I put a butterfly over my ring finger cuticle. I always remember to use my cuticle remover too late, so I got I small wound that I won't share with you =).

This is all from this blog for today, take care.

Going blue again

11:41 PM colorfulbottle 18 Comments

Hi, today I have another kanadicure for you. I used my favourite blue polish and my favourite design from Konad plates. Now you are probably asking yourselves which one is my favourite blue and which design is my favourite. I think that the next pictures will reveal my favourite design, do you recognise it?

I bet you did it is from m64 image plate.
I used 2 coats of Maybeline NY Colorama party blue and Avon Splendid Blue for stamping. I also added a coat of Essie good to go.
Here is another picture of my manicure which I've been vearing for 3 days =)

I almost forgot to write down which one of these blue polishes is my favourite. What do you thin? Well I decided I won't bore you any more, it is Splendid Blue that stole my heart( swatches 2 post ago).

and another picture
I know, totally boring post, but I had nothing shocking to write =).
Do you like the final look?
Which blue is your favourite so for? Which stamping pattern do you like the most?

8. Red jelly polish layered over my favourite manicure of the year

7. Essence: Glisten Up over Essence: Return to the Paradise

 6. H&M Blue My mind with my second favourite Konad design

Splendid Blue

11:56 AM colorfulbottle 11 Comments

I was supposed to write this post hours ago, but the whole neighbourhood ran out of electricity and I was left with no other choice than to go sleep =). But now the internet connection has come back and I can write this post in peace( I hope so).
To continue with the polish, I got this one as a gift for Christmas from my cousin, she was the first one ever to give me a polish for a present, besides my friend Sara who give me a bonus coupon for an internet store. Anyway the polish didn't seem promising in the bottle, but when I applied it I was shocked by it's gorgeousness. Firstly I was impressed with the application because it was smooth, I liked the brush and the best part of it is that it is a one coater and perfect for konad stamping. It wore nicely and dried really fast(maybe the fact that it is a one coater should be considered here as well). I totaly forgot to mention it's name, I'm really surprised by it's name, because it isn't called Blue my mind, like many blue polishes, but it has  a really appropriate name Splendid blue =)
Here is a lot of crappy pictures
Too bad the sparkling effect is seen only on the ring finger

I hope that you can see at least a bit of it'd gorgeousness
Too bad I don't have any top coat pictures because it looks a lot more beautiful with a top coat, but since it impressed me a lot, I might wear it some time soon =)

Though I loved it alone I had to do some stamping on it because I just realised that I have so many plates bit I rarely use them, so here it goes a pattern from Konad m64 plate with silver Beautyline polish Nr.2

I really liked the combo, and I really can't decide which version I prefer.

And I have a bonus picture for you today. It is Meggie(again) while making a commercial for CG polishes =P

Since I have 3 post prepared to be published I want you to decide which one comes next. So what would you like to see next: my top 5 manicures(not polishes) of the year(yes, I final decided to make a post like that), 7 things about me or how well Sparkling blue looks on party blue ? The post that will have the most votes will be published today =).

Tnx for reading and commenting, I really can't believe that I already have more than 180 followers=)
